Cello Lessons in Connecticut

In addition to concertizing and recording for Lonely Peaks Records, Peter Dzialo teaches cello privately in the Hartford area.

He has studied with eminent cello teachers Aldo Parisot from the Yale School of Music, and Carl Shugart, a former student of Leonard Rose and Channing Robbins. His teaching style is based upon technical and aesthetic judgments formed from his experience and intensive personal study of the instrument. This expertise is demonstrated in his recordings, which are testaments of masterful cello playing. Peter's personal experience in recording—as performer, engineer, producer—has given him a unique perspective on the cellist's critical listening, honesty in interpretation, acoustics, and insights into the cello that cannot be gained in any other way.

Any dedicated student can be led from an introduction to the instrument to the technically advanced and sublime if guided well and with patience and respect.
